Remaining in Good Standing with Christian Global Outreach Ministries
Maintaining your ordination with Christian Global Outreach Ministries requires active engagement and adherence to the following standards, which are part of your ordination covenant:
1. Active Communication
To ensure your ordination remains recognized and valid and to ensure we can cover you in ministry by providing ongoing support, updates, and valuable information, you must maintain an active connection with the Ministry. This is defined as:
- Maintaining a Working Email Address: Your email address must be current and active.
- Staying Opted-In: You must remain subscribed to our official Ministry communications.
- Minimum Engagement: You must open at least one (1) official Ministry email within every ninety (90) day period. This simple action confirms your receptivity to the support and information we provide, just as a local ministry provides coverage to its members.
2. Faith-Based Conduct
Ordination is a sacred commitment, and your public and private life should reflect the Christian faith you profess. Maintaining good standing requires you to:
- Uphold a Consistent Christian Lifestyle: Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects the teachings of Christ and the values of this Ministry.
- Avoid Conduct That Discredits the Ministry: Refrain from engaging in any behavior that is widely understood to be contrary to basic Christian principles or that would bring disrepute to your ordination or the Ministry.
Important: Commitment to Your Lifetime Ordination
Please remember that the one-time ordination fee you paid covers your ordination for life, and there are no annual renewal fees or hidden costs, unlike many other ministries. However, maintaining your status in Good Standing is the mandatory, ongoing action required to keep this lifetime ordination valid.
Ministerial Review and Loss of Standing
Any minister who fails to remain in Good Standing may be flagged for Ministerial Review and could result in the loss of their ordination with Christian Global Outreach Ministries. In this event, your ordination would be rescinded, and you would be required to formally reapply and meet all current standards to regain your status.
